And its wrong on the Main site at the news

It says [T">ools, [A">ssistance, [S">ervices and [K">nowledge to support and expand their communities.

Instead of

 [T]ools, [A]ssistance, [S]ervices and [K]nowledge to support and expand their communities.

Guess somekind of automation in the " news " code that detects the [] to something else

Awesome indeed :)

Those who would give up essential Liberty for safety, deserve neither Liberty nor safety.

Hehe, yeah, that's my homepage integration code. I basically invented my own BBCode to HTML converter. You can use {} or <> or () without issue. When I get a chance, I'll find a proper converter function.

Ask not what UA can do for you; ask what you can do for UA.

here it what I use. Still not perfect but it works.

function bbc2html($string) {
  $search = array (
    '/(\[b\])(.*?)(\[\/b\])/',
    '/(\[i\])(.*?)(\[\/i\])/',
    '/(\[u\])(.*?)(\[\/u\])/',
    '/(\[ul\])(.*?)(\[\/ul\])/',
    '/(\[li\])(.*?)(\[\/li\])/',
    '/(\[url=)(.*?)(\])(.*?)(\[\/url\])/',
    '/(\[url\])(.*?)(\[\/url\])/'
  );

  $replace = array (
    '<strong>$2</strong>',
    '<em>$2</em>',
    '<u>$2</u>',
    '<ul>$2</ul>',
    '<li>$2</li>',
    '<a href="$2" target="_blank">$4</a>',
    '<a href="$2" target="_blank">$2</a>'
  );

  return preg_replace($search, $replace, $string);
}
