Interested in Volunteering?!

There's a lot you can do without even being an official staff member (but show us that you're interested in helping out). For example, you can respond kindly to support requests in the forums and/or IRC channel, or you can contribute information to the wiki. We'd prefer seeing some dedicated activity before adding you to our official staff.
In the past, we had applications and added people immediately, which we may do for certain projects. We ran into issues where people would join staff and not do anything. We're all volunteers and support each other in helping to make this the best game server admin community we can.
If you have been actively helping already and are really interested in becoming an official UA staff member, please reply to this forum with a little information about yourself and where you'd like to help out. Thank you!

I am getting back into hosting servers and miss being a part of the community. I will jump in and do what I can to help aspiring admins and hosts with their servers.
Quick question - what happened to all of the old threads? Google still lists some of my old responses from here and the cs forums but they are nowhere to be found.

Also, you mentioned you plan on hosting servers again in the near future. Are you colocating, renting boxes, host them yourself or what? Purely just curious.
As far as the volunteering, I am sure Hounddawg will get in touch with you in the next day or so. Until then, feel free to contribute to the wiki =).

I am renting dedicated boxes from a datacenter in NY.
