Deadmans LAN servers :D way more power than i actually use or need :P

Server 1:

Dual E5420s @ 2.5ghz quads
16gb FBDIMM
large assortment of SCSI drives (9 in total)
onboard VGA
8 1gb NICS

Server 2:

single E5405 quad (soon to be 2 ) @ 2ghz
16gb FBDIMMs
7x SATA 320GB
more nics
X850XT

Server 3:

Dual E5150
12gb ram
2x WD RAPTORS
4 NICS
noctua HSF

EMS/DNS/DHCP

HP ML325
2x 73gb SCSI
3x NICS
iLO

and thats about it.

these things only get used once every couple of months really (i spend to much money on PC's)

The dual quads essentially runs all the competition servers at the LAN he runs servers for (free plug, if you're in Melbourne AU, and want to LAN, http://www.respawn.com.au ). A number of CS:S servers, a few CoD4 servers, TF2, HL2DM 32 player (z0mg. so awesome).

Not sure what else he runs. And I'm not sure what else the other servers run. Nor am I sure what sort of performance it gets.

generally as far as games go its whatever i can be bothered sticking on them.

tbh its massive overkill for the event, however i always love a bargain server :D

saying that inbetween lans i tend to use them to virtualise and play with random crap :)

probley the most players on there at any one time is around 200 maybe more
