Was playing around with PhotoShop this morning, testing out various fx to use with the new UA logo... ended up with this wallpaper (1920x1200):

Yes, or at least something similar.

Yes, I'm thinking more along the lines of just changing up the background image in the header. IPB allows us to select a specific theme for a specific forum (or forum tree). So, we may do it that way. For example, show a TF2 header for the TF2 specific forums.

Also, a request for the new theme - "new post" graphics that jump out and say "Hey, I got some new messages in this thread!" The current ones don't do that, so I thought I'd get this in before theme completion

Yeah, I'm not too wild about the current ones. In the past, we just had the UA avatar go grey dim for forums with no updates. I'll have to play around with it.

I don't know if HD changed it already, but if there is new content the icons have more color and the others have less color...

No, I haven't done the forum icons yet. I'd like to finalize a skin concept in PhotoShop first.

I know the current colors change and what not, I just didn't think they were very attention grabbing, hence the request to HD for new post icons that grab your attention.

It would be nice to have a repository for all the non-text content (i.e. images, etc) other than the forums. Maybe something like Google Docs or Live Mesh. Opinions?

Well, we could either add a page to the website, or to the wiki. I'm thinking more of the website myself, as we'll have more flexibility in the formatting.
